Chickaloon Apps builds small, focused applications for macOS and iOS. This policy describes how our apps and this website handle your information. The short version: we do not collect it.
Data Collection
Our apps do not collect, store, or transmit personal data or usage information to servers operated by Chickaloon Apps. Each app operates entirely on your device. This website (chickaloonapps.com) is a static site and does not set tracking cookies or run analytics.
Credentials and Local Data
When an app needs to store credentials (for example, cloud storage access keys), it stores them in your device's secure Keychain. Credentials and other app data:
- Stay on your device, in the system Keychain or the app's local storage
- Are never transmitted to any server operated by Chickaloon Apps
- Are used only to connect directly to the third-party services you've configured
Analytics and Tracking
Our apps and this website do not include any analytics, tracking, or telemetry. We do not collect information about how you use our apps or this site.
Third-Party Services
Some of our apps connect to third-party services that you choose and configure (for example, AWS S3, Cloudflare R2, or Backblaze B2). Those services have their own privacy policies governing their handling of your data. For per-app details on which services an app may connect to, see that app's own privacy and support pages.
Data Retention
All data our apps store (credentials, configurations, cached metadata) remains on your device. When you delete an app, its associated data is removed from your device.
Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
